Handling Real Estate Matters for More than Three Decades
I have been advising individuals, families, and businesses in Western Washington since 1992. I have broad experience in a wide range of civil matters. I have resolved disputes without litigation and at mediation before trial. I have tried bench and jury trials and have appeared in Division I of the Washington Court of Appeals. Today, I primarily represent neighbors in conflicts over boundaries, easements, landscaping, and views. I also handle partition actions and other disputes involving real estate.
To effectively represent my clients, I handle only a limited number of matters at a time. When you hire me, you hire me. Not a team of associates or paralegals. I like to work directly with my clients to reach outcomes that make sense.
I am a past president of the King County Solo and Small Firm Lawyer section. I have been the presenting lecturer at several continuing legal education seminars and served and testified as an expert witness.
I am a 1991 graduate of the Willamette University College of Law and a 1988 graduate (BA History, cum laude) from Central Washington University. As a lifelong resident of Seattle, I am deeply integrated into the local community, professionally and personally.
I enjoy working with my clients and celebrating with them when they can finally move past the issue that brought them to me.
